State-of-the-Art Technology and Comfort
In a state-of-the-art and picturesque setting, our office has had the distinction of being featured on the 2000 Hinman Dental Society Meeting Tour of Dental Offices. Keeping up with the latest technology in modern dentistry, our office has been designed to accommodate the most effective treatments and tools, making our patientsâ visits as safe, efficient, and enjoyable as possible.
CEREC® - The one-appointment all-porcelain crown
CEREC®, which stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics, is a high-tech instrument that allows us to quickly restore damaged teeth by using a durable ceramic material that matches your natural tooth color. We can use CEREC®'s computer-assisted design and manufacturing capabilities to apply crowns, veneers, and other single-tooth restorations in a single office visit. During the process, a picture of the damaged tooth is taken with a special camera that creates an extremely sharp optical impression. We use that image to design a new restoration â and you can watch the entire process on a full-color computer monitor in front of you!
Comfort Control™ Syringe
Pain control has always been an issue for dental patients, but it is also in dentists' best interest to make their treatments as trauma-free as possible. Those in our profession have seen dramatic advances in pain control for routine dental procedures. One stand-out tool, DENTSPLY Professional's Comfort Control™ Syringe, addresses the terrifying association that many people have with dental procedures and needles. This computerized anesthetics system employs microprocessors, which make injections more comfortable by controlling the volume and pressure of the local anesthetic. Thanks to this alternative to the traditional hand syringe, it is now possible to undergo extensive restorative and surgical procedures with virtually no pain.
Intraoral Camera
These tiny cameras allow us to magnify images of the inside of the mouth and show our patients "what we see" on a 32-inch TV screen.
Digital X-rays
Using digital machines for x-rays greatly reduces radiation exposure and allows us to access the images instantly, rather than wait for traditional film to develop.
Headphones
In each operatory we have headphones for satellite radio and televisions so patients can watch network TV or movies.
Casey Interactive
Casey Interactive is an instructional and informative visual DVD series which can be viewed from the reception room and operatories.
DIAGNOdent®
The DIAGNOdent® laser is a painless, accurate method of detecting tooth decay.
Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous Oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, is available to increase patient relaxation during dental procedures.
